The writers are really making Bianca's anime team different than what it was in the games. It was one thing when Bianca had wanted to catch cute pokemon like Minccino, but now she also owns a Shelmet?

I don't know what to say of the battle, but it is not looking great for Bianca. Unless this is a 1-on-1 (which is very unlikely), Bianca will be sending out all three of her pokemon against Zebstrika, and lose without defeating any of her opponent's pokemon.

Obviously Bianca cannot be removed from the show entirely so the writers are going to make her father allow Bianca to continue her journey after showing him a decent battle.

Even though I'd rather not see Bianca get stomped by two Zebstrika in a row, I guess they don't want to show Elesa losing in back to back episodes. I guess they want to show off how strong Elesa is before Ash battles her, while at the same time providing development for Bianca. Hopefully this will lead to her becoming compotent.

I hope Bianca gives up and goes home. It would be a nice twist for this show, see a character admit they are a failure at battling and give up.

It would be such an uplifting message to children!

Dude, Pokemon has just started getting away from being called a sexist anime. Can you imagine the flames of hate that would leap onto the forums?

Also, a Shelmet for Bianca? A interesting choice writers. My guess is, Bianca is gonna get stomped, while Ash fights well, but loses.

Well giving Cilan more screentime than Iris and making Bianca out to be an incompetent "dumb blonde" type of trainer certainly isn't helping matters. :p

The female characters are getting much worse screentime this gen than previous gens.

Why does Ash need to lose here? Him and Cilan are likely going to lose to the subway twins, he doesn't need to lose here too.

Yeah, I have to say it's pretty obvious that they'll pull the whole "you lost, but you did great!" Schick with Bel and her father.

Anyway, yay, I love Shelmet...you know, maybe Iris will get Karrablast down the line and the two will trade? I could see them doing that.

I like the option where Bel beats Kamitsure and Satoshi loses to Kamitsure but beats her later.
Bel character development AND makes her competent as a rival!

Awesome. I'm glad that Shelmet will finally be getting its episode debut, as it's one of my favourite Generation V pokemon (love dem cute prissy lips^^).

It's also nice that Bianca will get to debut a new pokemon period, seeing as how she was the only rival during the Don Battle Tournament who didn't.

Chobomaki? AWESOME, Bel won't just catch cute Pokemon, but then again it might be cute to her XD But, using Chobomaki against Zeburaika wasn't smart because, Zeburaika can use Nitro Charge and Chobomaki is a Bug Type, so that might not end too well. Since it only list Zeburaika and not Kamitsure's Emonga that must mean Bel has her ass handed to her, which is a shame Chobomaki deserves a win if it's Bel's first Pokemon that doesn't parade around like an idiot. Nothing against Charbu or Chirrami but, the show took two awesome Pokemon, and made them nothing but clowns, stupid clowns. Chirrami is a rodent, I like rat-Rodent Pokemon so it's sad to see so much coolness stomped on and Charbu is pretty cool to, but he got screwed. I'm glad the show is doing Bel's game storyline, because I was so sure they would just have Bel be the typical blond idiot girly girl who is shallow and only cares for looks. But, I guess I was wrong since she didn't catch a cute Pokemon. But, it's gonna be a bit strange since ya know, Bel's been acting exactly like a blond idiot girly girl it's gonna be weird for her to have a serious and emotional scene, I wonder what her daddy looks like this looks like it proves to be one of the best BW eps yet, may even on par with "Enter The Dragon Buster, Iris and Doryuuzu" Bel's storyline in the game was one of my favorites because, I could relate almost completely to it, and it shows not everyone is cut out for Pokemon which is realistic since some people are doctors and teachers and not trainer. Plus hopefully now she'll show more strategy and we get to see some awesomeness from her Charbu with attacks like Heat Stomp and Nitro Charge and Chirrami may have learned Tail Sweeper or something. The fact that everyone doesn't live and breathe Pokemon is an awesome example.

Arti's and Artist, Aloe's a Musuem owner, and Dento, Pod, and Corn are waiters and Kamitsure is a model. And Shaga is the mayor of Souryuu City and Iris is such a kid so she has no job :p

Yeeeeeaaahhh, except Bianca is already like that in the games, so you can't blame the anime for that.

And no, I very much doubt they will make Bianca go home. At best, she'll go home for a bit and come back to get the rest of the badges and to compete in the league.

Anyway, If Bianca only uses one Pokemon to battle, I think she has a chance of winning, if not, then she'll get curb stomped.

A little searching has revealed that Kamitsure is voiced by Yumiko Kobayashi, who according to Bulbapedia has only voiced two other characters in Pokémon: a [bp=Ephraim]CotD from Johto[/bp] and [bp=Timmy Grimm]that phantom kid from AG[/bp]...both boys. Hmm...

Also yay for Bel getting another Pokémon. :)

Also, if Satoshi loses to Kamitsure in this episode there'll be a chance of seeing her in an episode with decent animation. *crosses fingers*

Yeah, I guess we could get a better animator, but I'm sure the current one will be alright, especially since I don't want Ash to lose in the first try.

Pikachu is obviously depressed, I think Ash should cheer him up somehow, before he becomes Emochu.

But yeah, it's about time that Pikachu sits out an electric gym, so I'm glad he's out and Palpitoad's in and I'm sure Ash will win, considering what he does in the episode after his battle.

I think its hilarious that Pikachu is sitting out of the electric Gym.

It was used all 3 previous times against Lt. Surge, Wattson and Volkner.
