"Perfect" Kyurem - rebirth of the Original Dragon

We're still missing a lot of information. We shouldn't be jumping to conclusions just yet.

I agree, because I am confused as hell right now. >_>

If I am looking at this correctly:

N with Zekrom/Reshiram faces off against Ghetsis and Kyurem.
Kyurem physically merges with Zekrom/Reshiram.
We battle the newly formed Kyurem fusion at level 55 after the initial encounter, and after defeating it, it loses its fusion forme.
After the story is over, we battle N who has re-obtained his Dragon at level 70.
After defeating him, he releases Zekrom/Reshiram who flies off to Dragon Spiral Tower, while Kyurem awaits in the giant Chasm.
After catching them both, we return to N's Castle to activate an event where they fuse back into BW Kyurem at level 70 and capture them.

Whoo! Does that sound about right?

It all sounds horribly disjointed.

- We don't even know if N and Ghetsis really battle each other or not.
- Also, the N/Ghetsis scene with White Kyurem is supposed to be post-league. There's no indication that they confront each other at any point before the player character heads to the league.
- We don't even know where we battle Ghetsis, Akuroma, or Black Kyurem. I have a hard time believing Ghetsis would sit in that cave from before the league to afterwards.

I'd assume that Ghetsis and N had already had their confrontation, since we do actually fight BW Kyurem, and I don't see how it could be in that forme unless it has already faced N's Dragon. Considering its level at 55, it has to be before the league that we fight it and not after.

If that image that you posted is confirmed post-league though, then that kinda makes things confusing. I'll wait till we have more info on the plot, and then maybe this will all make sense.

In one of the trailers, N was seen standing beside Zekrom, and Ghetsis standing beside Kyurem, with the player character standing behind N and Zekrom. So I assume this screenshot is the same scene, just with Reshiram, and that the dragon that fuses with Kyurem belongs to N. I don't think they'd repeat this scene with the dragon that the player character is supposed to catch.

Yeah I'm having a hard time making sense of this.

With actual fusion now confirmed to take place, that is obviously how we will see the Original Dragon. Since it is activated by an item, they could simply issue out an event item that will complete the fusion of the Tao Trio.

I found a pic that illustrates my 'fusion' theory.

It demonstrates what I said about Kyurem's 'boundry' classification better than I tried to before.
I know that this is a bit off-topic from what's being said right now (and I'm saddened by the seeming lack of OD in the sequel), but since I found it I thought I'd post it for clarifications' sake.

@Dr. Mecha: Not bad, did you see mine?

Well according to Pokebeach there's nothing in the data to suggest an OD. It was fun while it lasted.

Confirmed: No new unexpected Pokemon formes in the rom data. Just Tornadus Therian Forme, Thundurus Therian Forme, Landorus Therian Forme, Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, and Keldeo Resolute Form.

Oh well but imagine how powerful he'd be... B/W Kyurem have a BST of 700 for gods sake... plus an amazing bulk of 125/100(90)/90(100) will be a nightmare to take out and doesn't he also get the Sig moves of Reshiram and Zekrom?

Oh well, it isnt really a huge deal, I still wouldve liked to just see the Original Dragon, but yeah as a usable Pokemon it would be way overpowered. Kind of a letdown, but maybe thats ok.

yeah if we did use him his BST would surpass Arceus you know... GOD I expected B/W Kyurem to have a BST of 680 like his brothers but wow... funny how normal Kyurem is 20 points lower while his forms are 20 points higher

Although it is a good idea I doubt it will be present in any of the games.
Also I think this bears a similarity to Dragon Ball as it is similar to how Cell absorbs the other Androids to become "Perfect Cell".

Trollfreak:
Explicitly mention N in a different region--Have N return to Unova, put BW PC on the bus.

Explicitly mention alternate forms of Genesect and Original Dragon, have placeholder data--Give formes to things they havent hinted to and give a form just for a move.

God this is kind of soul-crushing. They really messed up these games. I honestly wish they were joking right now.

I know how you feel man, I know how you feel.

A rather unfortunate idea has slipped into my mind... What if those foreshadowed forms were done away with to make room for the Kami Trio's and/or Keldeo's? I know it's baseless speculation, but I still can't help but feel a bit of rage knowing that could be what happened. Ugh, it's probably just me trying to explain away this nonsense.
