Hoenn Remake Wishlist

I really have the feeling I'm the only one that doesn't want the walking pokemon feature. I want it to be optional, I find walking with a gyarados in the middle of the street rather odd.

That's fine, they can make it optional. But, at least make it available to those that want to use it.

Don't worry, I don't want the feature either. It was cute, but unnecessary and dare I say felt stupid. I caught these slaves Pokemon in these balls so they should darn well stay in them until I need them!

I know technically it's not confirmed, but I can't wait to see Hoenn at night.

Maybe the Sevii Islands could be a place to catch National Dex Pokémon? The legendary event islands were in Emerald, so it's not out of the question, and FireRed/LeafGreen is also Gen III. And maybe the Johto, Sinnoh and Unova starter Pokémon can be obtained later and the Pokémon that are unobtainable in X and Y could be found in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?

That could be possible. Unown is currently unavailable without transfer from Gen IV. The Sevii Islands contained one of only three places in the games where Unown is found, the Tanoby Chambers. I hope the Sevii Islands make a come back. They were always my favorite location. Besides Game Freak has to make Unown available and the Sevii Islands are the perfect fit for a Hoenn game.

Yeah, I'd like to see Mew on Faraway Island. And here's how I want to obtain the starters from each region.
Kanto - Trade with XY
Johto - Gift from Professor Birch for defeating the Elite Four as a start to fill the National Dex
Hoenn - Gift from Professor Birch for saving him from Poochyena
Sinnoh - Gift from Scott for collecting all the Gold Frontier Symbols
Unova - Gift from Celio for connecting the Network Machine to Kalos
Kalos - Trade with XY

Yes, you heard right about how you get the Unova starter. They might not remake FireRed and LeafGreen, but since they're from the same generation as Ruby and Sapphire, I guess they can incorporate elemets from the Kanto remakes into the Hoenn remakes. After getting your first Silver Frontier symbol from any facility in the Battle Frontier, Scott gives you a Rainbow Pass to get to any of the Sevii Islands. But it is required that you should start with One Island. It appears that Celio wants to connect the Network Machine to Kalos. Thanks to Red connecting the Network Machine to Hoenn a month ago, you can easily use Lanette's Storage System. Celio needs the X hieroglyph and Y hieroglyph to connect to the distant Kalos region. After you give him the X and Y hieroglyph, he'll give you a choice of Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott and you can now connect with X and Y players. But Celio has one more task for you: He wants you to find the yin-yang stone to help him connect to Unova. After you give him the Yin-Yang Stone, you can use the Poké Transfer app from Pokémon Bank to transfer Pokémon from your Gen V game. And yep, you can get your Pokémon from your original game into the remake. And along the Sevii quest, you run across Team Rocket. Yep, Team Rocket from Kanto. Despite Red stopping them a month ago, it seems they won't give up. You stopped Team Aqua/Magma, but now you face Team Rocket. Red will be your opponent at the top of the Trainer Tower. Man, this game would be awesome if they included Sevii Islands! Of course, this is just what I would want to see. Nothing is confirmed yet.

Incorporate the Forces of Nature trio and Heatran with the plot of Groudon vs Kyogre vs Rayquaza. And a bigger subplot with the Regis.

My OR/AS Wishlist
-The return of Pokemon-Amie
-The return of super training
-The return of customization
-For the love of Helix PLEASE keep the trumpets in the soundtrack!
-Changes to contests to make them more anime like.
-Return of the Battle Frontier.
-MIROR B AS CHAMPION
-A few new megas, particuarly Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, Mega Flygon, and Mega Crawdaunt.
-Gym leader rematches
-The return of secret bases.

Gold and Silver and by extension HG/SS allowed you to capture both box legends, so why not do it here especially when the plot allows you to? I always hate being short one of the trio.

Also I want a revamped Regi sidequest that takes no less than 2 or 3 hours to complete. That one in Emerald was the most fun I'd ever had in a Pokemon game.

And infinite trumpets!

Keep the Emerald Brendan and add the Sevii Islands somehow. That's it.

Ooh, night in Hoenn. Didn't even think of that.

I'll settle for that and Ever Grande City: Actually A City Edition.
I'd love to see a good amount of Emerald content, as I've only played Sapphire.

Yeah, I've always wondered why they even called that place a "city". It's the Pokemon League, a Pokemon Center, and a really big cave.

Yes, please! I really want to walk around my Mega Charizard X, Mewtwo, or even my Pikachu.

Also, the various event legendaries on the islands would be great. And of course the customization from XY. And I still really want an appearance by Red, perhaps on the Forgotten Island hunting for Mew, or somewhere else in the postgame. Even if he's just a trainer you can battle like in B2/W2.
