And, the vig kill answers itself if you look at how I first responded to Eli. I don't think he has vig kills at all, but do think he can kill at night and is threatening a vig kill to try to control the conversation.
Seriously, have someone cop check me tonight. They'll tell you I'm quite attractive of attention, but not worth killing. If anything, smart town might find a use for my ability I've not thought of.
And, yes, it is mostly fluff. Even serious conversation can be fluff.
@Ereshkigal @Max1996: a little required reading for y'all.
Mafia: - Christmas Mafia! ENDGAME: It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Town Win!)
Mafia: - Masters of the Whoniverse! (Doctor Who Mafia) - Endgame: Day of the Doctor (Town Victory) 11/17/15
Those are good representations of Elie's "normal" playstyle as town.
TBH, I'm not getting scum vibes from Eresh. It sounds like their attitude is just a personality thing. I think scum are likelier to try to take something they could take seriously, well, seriously, instead of joke around a bit more instead of "scumhunting".
You never know, I just wanted to be sure.
It might, on the other hand, it might also make him safer with a role that is not much of a danger to the mafia.
Ereshkigal claimed such a role as well.
How are we supposed to make use of it if we have no idea what we are dealing with?
Where in the rules does it say that you have to vote for someone to be considered active, pray tell?never vote based purely on early readongs wothout evidence unless rules fprce me too. Thus, the joke vpte on ME.
I thought that Ereshkigel's post was actually being serious, so that's my bad there. The tone seemed different from Ereshkigel's prior two obvious jokes so I read it as legit. And I'm not very familiar with Ereshkigel's posting/humor style since I think we've just been in the FE: Fates game together.FA then calls out Ereshkigal for continuously joking and brings up the post where Eresh "calls out" a bunch of specific players as "dangerous," as a bad first "serious" post. - Eresh continuously joking when there are serious matters to discuss is disconcerting, though not necessarily indicative of her scum playstyle. On the other hand, it was fairly clear that the post FA was referring to wasn't meant as a serious post at all. Dunno if that makes things better or worse.
Connected to what I said above, I thought Ereshkigel's post was serious and that's why I quoted it rather than some of the other earlier posts by other players since the rest I could tell were jokes. The way it looked like a serious-yet-fluff and a bit nonsensical logic-wise post (with the whole "town is in danger even without scum," before I now know it was a joke) coming off the heels of not much else is what bothered me about it.The strange thing about it is that they came a bit out of the blue, she did quote a single Eresh post... but I don't get why she only pointed this out while ignoring others.
Yeah, I will admit a large part of my vote was meta, though that is why I tried to elaborate on it since at least a few people didn't seem to understand why I brought it up (Feenie and jdthebud). I wanted to be clear about why I thought it was relevant to this situation and game. Conclusion: FA's main argument for voting Elie was meta based. Not a big fan of that. She also spent a lot of time defending her meta reasoning, which I also find slightly odd.
Lastly I don't remove votes till I change them unless my vote presents the danger if causing the death of someone at that moment. Icase in point is my vote on darth remained until I voted elie, despite me realizing after ME pointed it out that I voted a joke post. And thus untill I find a case I don't see a point to remove my vote. I rather keep that extra pressure there. Not like it's hurting anyone.
NOTE: all the bold minus the unvote is for emphasis and added by meUNVOTE: Elieson
Forgot that in my last post. He isn't scummy enough to have the majority, and I'm finding Eresh to be much more scummy currently. I am waiting on responses to stuff before voting though.
again, the bold is my emphasisAlso, it does make me town every time. I play a lot less suspiciously as Mafia. Seriously, have someone cop check me tonight. They'll tell you I'm quite attractive of attention, but not worth killing. If anything, smart town might find a use for my ability I've not thought of.
I suppose I could say the same about myself.Go ahead and vote and lynch me if you want but it will majorly hurt the town much much more than Zexys fear lynch in superheroes mafia. And that's all I will say because the mafia doesn't need to know more. If they want to know my role they can nightkill me.
Any better options or analysis, RC?
I'm all ears, which isn't surprising considering they're the only visible feature of my face, mind you...
I don't remember saying much about Human either tbqh. Mido I expanded on more since she was the last person to vote. You mentioned Human, FA, and Midori but only proceeded to talk about what you thought about Human and Midori. You didn't really talk about your opinion on FA. Albeit, I see you have now.
I don't think that applies so much, honestly. I've only seen one scum game of yours (Card Mafia) and the difference it had to the town games is that you were posting a bit less I think and also more willing to switch around cases as it fit you.Just ask Zexy about how likely that is to make me scum. He's seen me actually play as scum before, and he knows how I play it. Seeming scummy as town, almost like I'm a lightning rod for attention? That's normal for me when I'm town. You could say I electrify the conversation.
I see, I should check that Ereshkigal post again then and put into perspective. Anyway, I see more attempts from you to push more cases which is better than my earlier thoughts on you.Connected to what I said above, I thought Ereshkigel's post was serious and that's why I quoted it rather than some of the other earlier posts by other players since the rest I could tell were jokes. The way it looked like a serious-yet-fluff and a bit nonsensical logic-wise post (with the whole "town is in danger even without scum," before I now know it was a joke) coming off the heels of not much else is what bothered me about it.
Get well soon.Really hope I'm feeling better tomorrow since I started medication so I can tackle this more effectively from that point onwards.
