Are we sure Ash doesn't just travel alone?

We've seen a lot of promos with just Ash and Pikachu, what if he only meets up with these guys in the poster every now and than? Was it confirmed in the Smash preview that these guys would be his traveling companions?

I think it has been confirmed. And Ash and Pikachu alone would be boring.

At this point, it's pretty much confirmed. If he travels alone, it probably won't be for very long.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Ash does NOT have what it takes to carry the Show by himself, even with his Pokémon helping. That's the whole darn reason he's given traveling companions in the first darn place! (even when their reasons for being with him are dubious...)

Though I'd kinda like it if the creative staff would loosen things up a little. Like having companions come and go or letting him be by himself for just a little bit

Yes, we already have confirmation that Ash won't be traveling alone. Just because there's images of him with just Pikachu doesn't change that. They would focus on just Ash for awhile since they didn't announce who would travel with him until this week. Besides that, Ash can't carry the show himself, so he wouldn't be just meeting with these characters every now and then. With that being said, I don't think this thread is necessary since we have confirmation that he won't be traveling alone, so I'll go ahead and close this thread.
