Electric Tera-Type Mimikyu
As part of The Pokémon Company International's ongoing celebration of Pokéween, select GameStop across the United States and Canada are distributing free code cards for an Electric-Tera Type Mimikyu that can be redeemed in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. These GameStop distributions have begun today, and will continue through until October 29th, or while supplies last. These same code cards are also being distributed to attendees of the Brazil Game Show in São Paulo, which continues until this Sunday October 15th.

As of writing, this distribution has not been announced for any other countries, though there remains a chance that the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand may receive this promotion later this month.

This Mimikyu holds a Life Orb, and knows Thunderbolt, which Mimikyu can normally only learn via TM. All Mimikyu from this distribution come in a Cherish Ball, and have a Classic Ribbon and the OT Trixie. These Mimikyu also have entirely random IVs, as well as an unlocked scale value. As such, players have a flat 1 in 255 of their Mimikyu also having either a Jumbo or Mini Mark.

After receiving the code card, players can receive this gift by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, and then selecting Mystery Gift, and then Get with Code/Password. Players will then need to enter the code from their card at the prompt after the game has connected to the internet. A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required to receive code distributions.
