Is there a setting where you can turn off people asking for Friend Requests?

No there is no setting that allows that. If you don't want to add people to your friends list, simply deny the friend request.

Its understandable if there's no way for vB to have it, but it just seems like a hassle that I have to deny a friend request every time I get one.
