There’s plenty of news this week for those interested in Pokémon merchandise, especially in Japan, where The Pokémon Company is showing off two news product lines: Pokémon Trainers - Memories of Paldea and Paldea Spooky Halloween. Fans in other countries can find the most recent plushie to join Build-A-Bear's Pokémon lineup, Mimikyu and all its accessories.

The new Paldean Trainer product line is, currently, exclusive to retailers in Japan and scheduled to launch there on September 16th. Ten trainers from Scarlet and Violet (including the two player characters) are featured on the usual t-shirts, keychains, acrylic figures, and more.

The highlights of this collection, however, are definitely the one-off accessories some trainers received, like a replica of Elite Four Rika’s gloves for ¥2,750 (`~$18.78 USD), or Penny’s fluffy Eevee backpack for ¥6,930 (~$47.32 USD). Gym Leader Iono gets the largest collection, with her pastel theme applied to earrings, hair bows, and a headband that mimics her in-game Magnemite hairclips for¥2,200 (~$15.02 USD). All the trainers and their themed products can be viewed here.

Also coming exclusively to Japan is the new Paldea Spooky Halloween collection, which will be available for purchase at Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Center Online beginning September 2nd. Pikachu, Gengar, Greavard, Mimikyu, and the Paldean starters feature as Fall food-themed plushies and keychains. Plenty of tableware keeps with the food theme; a tablecloth, plates, coasters, and an appropriately Nacli-shaped salt container for¥2,200 (~$15.02 USD) will also be available.

Fans outside of Japan can join in the spooky fun as Mimikyu comes to Build-A-Bear’s collection of over twenty different Pokémon. Mimikyu is the fourth to be released just this year, following Growlithe, Sobble, and Sprigatito. The plush is available now online as a bundle with its top hat and bowtie, hat and cape set, and a sound card for $69 USD. The plush is also available in Build-a-Bear locations worldwide where it can be purchased separately - without accessories, Mimikyu is $34 USD.
