Palentines' celebrations begin in Pokémon Masters EX, with a brand new Story Event and debut of Victor's new Seasonal Sync Pair with Greedent

February once again brings new seasonal content to Pokémon Masters EX, with the first of two new Seasonal Sync Pairs making their debut today alongside the new Victor's Cooking Class! Story Event in celebration of Palentine's Day. Palentine's Day is just like Valentine's Day, only instead of celebrating romantic love, it's for celebrating your love for your friends and pals.

Story Event: Victor's Cooking Class!
In what seems to have become a yearly tradition for the Palentine's events, this new Story event is once again focused around cooking for friends! As the name suggests, Victor's Cooking Class! sees this trainer from Galar roped into teaching people how to cook, so they can prepare something for their friends for Palentine's Day. This event will run through to February 25th, at 9:59pm (PST).

By completing battles during this event, players can earn Sweet Ticket A and Sweet Ticket A+ items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items including Custom Sync Orbs for both new Seasonal Sync Pairs (see below), 5★ Scout Tickets, 3★ and 4★ Power-Ups and Move Candy, Special Skill Feathers 18 and 19, and Support and Sprint Move Candy Coins. After completing Relishing Heartwarming Memories, players can also exchange Sweet Ticket A+ for an exclusive artwork. Players can also obtain Gems, Field and Tech Move Candy Coins, and Event Medals for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Victor (Palentines' 2024) & Greedent: +60% (x1.6) Bonus Rewards
• Mallow (Palentines 2023) & Appletun, Elesa (Palentines' 2023) & Togetic, Marnie (Palentines' 2022) & Mawile, Bea (Palentines' 2022) & Vannilluxe, Serena (Palentines 2021) & Whimsicott, Dawn (Palentines' 2021) & Alcremie, : +40% (x1.4) Bonus Rewards
• All other Sync Pairs with the Galar or Sinnoh Theme Skills: +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Victor (Palentines' 2024) & Greedent, Mallow (Palentines 2023) & Appletun, and Elesa (Palentines' 2023) & Togetic would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Sweet Ticket A and Sweet Ticket A+ items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes

Log-in Bonus
The Victor's Cooking Class! event includes a log-in bonus over 14 days. Players can receive these bonuses up until February 25th, at 9:59pm (PST), so even if you're a couple of days late starting the event you'll still have the chance to receive all of the available gifts.

New Seasonal Sync Pairs
Two new Seasonal Sync Pairs will be making their debut alongside the Victor's Cooking Class! Story Event. Victor (Palentines' 2024) & Greedent make their debut today, while Candice (Palentines' 2024) & Darmanitan will make their debut later this week on February 10th, at 10:00pm (PST).

Victor (Palentines' 2024) & Greedent
Victor (Palentines' 2024) & Greedent are a Normal-type Support Sync Pair with an expanded Sync Grid and an unlockable EX Role. When raised to 6★ EX, Victor's outfit receives a seasonally appropriate pink apron.

This Seasonal Scout give players bonus presents for the first three times players perform a Sync Pair Scout x11, awarding a Support Move Candy Coin each time. This Seasonal Scout also include a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

In addition to the regular Seasonal Scout, players can also take advantage of a Victor Seasonal Tiered Scout. This scouts has ten tiers, each of which is a Sync Pair Scout ×11. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Additionally, Tiers 5 and 10 of each grant the player special tickets to use in the associated Victor Seasonal Featured Ticket Scout.
