A beautiful huge ship sails into Olivine harbour.It's hull is painted gold,except for some large silver letters near the bow,which read "S.S. Prinplup".The S.S. Prinplup is a enormous high class cruiser kitted out with everything you could possibly want for a month of fun in the sun.Near by,on the dock itself stands a varied group of eleven youths aged between 12 and 15.All of them have won a competition that promises a fun,exciting and pleasant boat bound holiday.
Sailors and Dockers begin rushing around the port,making preparations for the ships arrival.
A pleasant salty tang is in the early morning air,and there are Wingull crying high above.
A tall,thin man with greasy black wearing the red uniform of ship staff pushes his way through the crowds,handing out leaflets about the ship itself.
He reached the waiting children and stopped to push a leaflet on each of them.
The leaflet lists the ships many features,such as:

-Casino
-Spa
-Fitness Centre
-Shops
-Library
-Theatre
-Cinema
-Indoor and Outdoor Heated Swimming pools
-Hot tub
-Passenger Lounges
-Pokemon Battle Arena

Jack Andrews brushed a lock of hair from his face.He stared at the ship,as if he could not believe he was about to board it.He then quickly glanced at the other competition winners.Finding them uninteresting,he sat down on his blue and white striped suitcase and began to read his leaflet.

Gary looked at Jack and rolled his eyes before turning to his leaflet. He began reading it. ''Hmm... This looks fun...'' He muttered before putting on his sunglasses. He began examining the ship.
 
"Excelent!" said Joe and Josh togeather, noticing the battle arena on their leaflets.
 
Evan stood in front of the ship. He thought about everything. He then looked at the other young adults with him hoping none of them easily becomes sea sick. "Well, I can't wait to get on," said Evan.
 
"This should be interesting," Neil said quietly to himself. He was interested in what was in the Library, and the battle area. He looked at the other contest winners, he quickly thought, "I have to talk a little bit, I won't make any friends otherwise."
 
Fletcher was walking around the ship, with Combusken by his side. "What do you think we should do here?" he asked the Young Fowl Pokemon.
 
Jack lay back on his large case,staring at the Wingull circling above.
Might as well try and makes some friends,now that I'm here He thought brightly,as the sea air ruffled his hair again.
 
Joe was humming "I'm on a boat" softly as he polished his pokeballs, as Josh was skimming through a book called "The Lunar Cycle" looking slightly worried.
 
Jack sat up,and leaned towards Josh."What's the book?"He asked,trying to sound friendly,rather than sleepy,nervous and excited.
 
"What?" snapped Josh, looking up "Oh." he said, noticing Jack "Just a book about the time and place when the moon becomes full... it's in two weeks, and we get a bi-"

"Josh!" said Joe warningly "Enough."

Josh smilled sheepishly at Jack, then went back to his book.
 
Fletcher and Combusken were still wandering around the ship, when they saw 2 boys talking to each other.

Should I show off my Pokemon knowledge to them? he thought, I know I've been bullied dozens of times for it, but at least I can deal with it.

Combusken nudged him by the side.

"Oh, all right," he sighed, walking up towards the boys. "Uh, hi?" he asked.
 
Jack raised his eyebrows questioningly,but then shrugged off his curiosity and went back to sky watching.
Then he noticed the boy and the Combusken."Hi!"He said happily
 
"Hi!" Lan said.Riolu looked nevous,but with Lan,they could conquer anything.
 
"I'm Fletcher," said Fletcher, "and this is Combusken."

"Combusken!" the Fire Pokemon cried.

"I know a lot about Pokemon as well," he added.
 
"My name's Jack"Replied Jack.
"I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Pokemon myself!Mostly because I trained under Whitney,the leader of Goldenrod Gym."
He began playing with the zip on his case,but with paying it much attention.
 
"I'm Joe." said Joe.

"And i'm Josh." said Josh.

"AMBIPOM!" yelled Coconuts, escaping from it's pokeball. Josh returned him.
 
"I studied at the Trainer's School in Rustboro City," added Fletcher, "My grades there were incredibly high, so the headmaster and Professor Birch gave me approval to start my journey early at age 8."
