Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's 2024 Global Challenge II Online Competition will run from March 1st to 3rd - Registrations open February 22nd

2024 Global Challenge II Online Competition
Registration for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet's 2024 Global Challenge II Online Competition will open next week on February 22nd at Midnight (UTC). Registration will remain open until the end of the month, with the competition itself scheduled to run from March 1st, at Midnight (UTC) through to March 3rd, at 11:59pm (UTC).

This Online Competition will follow Regulation Set F, with Trainers competing in 4v4 Double Battles with teams of between 4 and 6 Pokémon. Under this Regulation Set, Trainers may use any Pokémon numbered 001-398 in the Paldea Pokédex or 001-200 in the Kitakami Pokédex, as well as Pokémon numbered 001-239 and 241-242 in the Blueberry Pokédex, that have been are caught, hatched, and obtained as gifts in either Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, as well as Pokémon and Regional Forms from the following list that have been brought from Pokémon HOME.

Pokémon may be entered at any level, but will be set to level 50 during matches. Pokémon may also be given Held Items, however no more than one copy of any item can be present on a player's team.

All battles will be limited to 20 minutes total, including 7 minutes of time per player, with Turn Time and Preview Times of 45 and 90 seconds respectively. Trainers will be limited to 15 matches per day, however any unused matches will be carried over to Trainer's limits for the next day of the competition.

Entries are limited to one per user per game version per Nintendo Switch console, and no entries will be accepted once the competition period has started. All qualifying Trainers who participate in and complete at least three battles during the event will receive the following as a participation reward, regardless of their win record.

To register for the competition, follow these steps:
  1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
  2. Open the X menu.
  3. Select Poké Portal.
  4. Select Battle Stadium.
  5. Select Online Competitions.
  6. Under Official Competitions, select Search for a Competition.
To check rankings after the competition is over, follow these steps:
  1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
  2. Open the X menu.
  3. Select Poké Portal.
  4. Select Battle Stadium.
  5. Select Online Competitions.
  6. Select Previous Results.
