Lapis Lakeside Area Details
Sleep Researchers will unlock the Lapis Lakeside after registering 240 Sleep Styles in their Sleep Style Dex. The favorite Berries for Snorlax in the Lapis Lakeside are Durin Berry (Grass), Mago Berry (Psychic), and Cheri Berry (Fighting).
The following Pokémon will appear during Sleep Research at Lapis Lakeside:
- Dozing Type
- Dratini
- Dragonair
- Dragonite
- Snoozing Type
- Ralts
- Kirlia
- Gardevoir
- Slumbering Type
- Stufful
- Bewear
- Gallade
Starting on January 29th, the first Monday following the addition of the new Lapis Lakeside area, and running through to Monday February 12th at 3:59am local time, Pokémon Sleep will be holding a two week long event to celebrate the addition of this new area, giving players who've not yet unlocked enough entries in their Sleep Style Dex a chance to catch Pokémon that would otherwise be exclusive to the new area.
Much of the information for this event was already revealed in an earlier update on Pokemon.com last week. For your convenience, we've reproduced all the information about the event below, with updated information indicated by text in bold italics.
During this event, the following Pokémon which normally appear at Lapis Lakeside will also appear for Sleep Research conducted in Greengrass Isle:
- Dozing Type
- Dratini
- Dragonair
- Dragonite
- Snoozing Type
- Ralts
- Kirlia
- Gardevoir
- Slumbering Type
- Stufful
- Bewear
- Gallade
- Slightly Greater Encounter Chance (Greengrass Isle and Lapis Lakeside only)
- Dratini, Ralts, Stufful
In addition, each week will have its own set of missions for Researchers to complete, running from 4:00am on the Monday, and finishing at 3:59pm on the following Monday. Rewards for completing these missions include Dratini Incense, Ralts Incense, and Stufful Incense, all but ensuring that the majority of players should be able to see, and hopefully catch, at least one each of these newly available species. These limited-time missions are available in all areas, however players will only be able to use the incense in Greengrass Isle and Lapis Lakeside. These incense will no longer be able to be used on Greengrass Isle a week after the end of the event.
Snorlax on Lapis Lakeside will prefer Durin, Mago, and Cheri Berries. These berries can be found on Grass-, Psychic-, and Fighting-type Pokémon, so Researchers may wish to ensure they can find, level, and evolve some Pokémon of these types prior to the start of the event.
Players should also note the following for this event:
- The daily rollover for the Lapis Lakeside Opening event is at 4:00am local time.
- The limited-time missions for this event are available in all areas, not just at Greeengrass Isle and Lapis Lakeside.
- Dratini Incense, Ralts Incense, and Stufful Incense may only be used at Greengrass Isle and Lapis Lakeside. These incense will no longer be able to be used on Greengrass Isle from a week after the end of the event.
A selection of Bundles will be made available from the in-game store ahead of this event. While no dates have officially been announced for these as of writing, based on past events it's expected that these should remain available until the day after the end of the event, on Monday February 12th at 1:59pm local time. Purchase limits will likely also apply to these bundles, though again these exact limits have not yet been revealed.
The Lapis Lakeside Bundle S can be purchased for 250 diamonds. These bundles will include:
