It's actually more like 50% confirmed. They don't mention her name directly, but the Team Rocket fleet is called the "Matori Matrix"

TPCi's rule of Not repeating Pokemon only applies within the same series, inter-series is fine. Both Meowth and Pikachu were used in XY & BW iirc.

I like how most of the effort went into the end of the episode, because those interior shots were gorgeous while the actual battle was pretty lacking

I see Necrozma went to the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy and learned the mighty Missmatic Laser that's been passed down for generations
