Something is Wrong with my IRC Chat...

Everytime I click on the join IRC bulbagarden chat button, it goes to the chat screen but says this

Code: 
[18:14] Connecting... 
[18:14] Not on a channel 
[18:14] Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused: connect

It hasnt done this to me before....
 
what server and what is the IRC channel called anyways?
 
The server is irc.systemnet.info and the channel is whatever you pick in the dropdown.
 
Systemnet could of been down at the time that is why you may not been able to connect
 
Have you trying going on the IRC again recently? The problem may have been resolved.
