Wow, I really think you read my mind. :p

I was actually thinking about saying that, because I agree too. The one I posted seems more like an actual evolution due to the different color scheme, the design, and some add-ons that Banette wouldn't normally be paired with.

I'm noticing a not-so-good pattern of taking the base design, then adding a bunch of random black designs onto it. Kinda tacky.

Some are good though.

Mega Charizard looks really good. Mega Dragonite, on other hand, is a disgrace imo. I think a Mega Dragonite should look a bit more like its pre-evolutions.

Also, no Mega Pikachu pls.

I actually quite like MegaPikachu, the black stripes on it make it look super badass. MegaDragonite however, looks a tad bit overdone. I'm not quite sure as to where I stand on MegaCharizard though. But giving it a second glance, it looks pretty awesome. ^^;

That artist seems to have done a decent job on their Mega Charizard attempt, I can respect that.

Oh my dear Arceus, please stop it... There is no way we're having Mega evolutions to Basic pokémon, right?? Only to full-evolved ones??

I don't even know why am I still talking about it, since I have no idea how to have enough money to buy X/Y here in Brazil (they will cost roughly 150 US dollars)

Yeah. I am loving the concept of Mega Evolutions, but the feature should exclusive to fully-evolved Pokémon.

I think a Mega Eevee would be cool...

You know, sort of a 50/50 situation...you either evolve Eevee, or get to use Mega Eevee.

That or have all the Eeveelutions share a Mega Evolution, a "Mega Eevee".

About a Mega Eevee, yeah, Eevee definitely need a new form, poor thing was forgotten, I wonder why Game Freak never gives it evolutions.

Where did this adding-random-black-markings bandwagon come from? The only official Mega Evolution that added black was Blaziken, the others either received a different color or no additional colors at all.

Anyway, I wonder how a Mega Blastoise would look like..

Some of those are absolutely terrible, the Mega Arcanine and Mega Alakazam in particular.

Anyway, as people are sharing, here's one that I like.

I've also noticed this. While I can't say that it looks totally badass, I gotta say that it's at least amusing, right? :x

A Mega Eevee could get around all the speculation about a Normal-type Eeveelution. But what would we call the Mega Stone? Eeveenite?

Well, we can't call it Eeveelite... The bigger question is whether the Eeveelutions would need separate Mega Stones. If they're shared, it could simply be called Eonite or something (not to be confused with Lationite or whatever(s) for the Lati duo).

Hey, anyone think the Hitmons might have mega forms?

Other faux megas out there in the fanart world.... Masquerain and Heracross look pretty faithful to the originals.
