The nocturnal is because of Luxray's inspiration, the lynx. Which is a hunter. And nocturnal.

Most lynx are crepuscular, not nocturnal.

I would bet money that if the fur wasn't black no one would be drawing this 'connection' between it being able to see through walls = nocturnal = Dark-type or hunter = Dark-type to try and support the idea of it fitting the Dark-type. It's really reaching.

But it's whatever. I already gave my reasons for a Dark-typing, and they're a lot more substantial than "it has dark fur". So I don't see how I'm reaching according to some people. I'm done with this argument. I still want Electric/Dark.

On another note, I honestly don't care if there's no logical reason for Mega Luxray to become Dark-type; just change his design enough to be one and make him a super-awesome Strong Jaw abuser/sweeper, and I'll be perfectly happy.

Well I'm going to suggest Grass/Rock Roserade, Dark/Flying Mightyena, Ground/Psychic Sandslash and Water/Fairy Samurott because they can just change their designs to be one!

Just like Electric cat-lynx things can be evil. Dark-typing wouldn't be all that shocking(oh HO!).

Before Mega-Pinsir was released, we were talking about a possible Mega Pinsir being Bug/Fighting because of all its level-up moves. Or Bug/Ground because beetle and DigQuake.

But clearly GameFreak will do whatever they hell they want. We're just as likely to see Mega Luxray be Electric/Fire with Immolate.

Except being based on a creature possessing a trait of a type (a beetle being able to fly and flying = flying type) and assigning a trait to something (such as it learns lots of fang moves, it's nocturnal, it's a hunter and it can see through walls = dark-type) based on nothing but opinion of a type are completely different.

And Game Freak "can do whatever they want" is a cop-out reason to try and justify something. They can do whatever they want to justify these sort of random fan wants, but they don't.

Standard specially defensive Mega Blissey. If you couldn't tell, I'm a bit stuck on it's ability...

I had this crazy idea that I would turn MBliss Bleh into a crazy physical tank/Egg Bomb abuser, and then I discovered that Egg Bomb was 100 base power/75 accuracy, when I though it was Explosion-class stuff. oh well.

Looking back on these guys again, they look defensively over-powered. They should probably never, ever, EVER exist.

Mega Blissey probably will be Fairy if Audino is anything to go by. But a Mega Blissey with increased stats and added Fairy-typing sounds both scary and annoying, so on the one hand I really want it because Blissey is a Fairy and on the other I... don't D:

Make Mega Blissey Fairy/Steel with Regenerate and 100 points in defense, reduce speed by 50 and add to SpD and watch the world burn.
