Funny that you mention that, I've noticed something like that myself today. I don't know if it has been the venting or if it's because the decreased amount of players (although it's still kinda worrying since the percentage of hostiles technically has grown that way) or if I'm just getting used to the situation in general.

I don't know how to feel about that (mostly due to my lack of experience with the roles I guess) but I have 2 things that immediately crossed my mind (as always, take them with a big grain of salt, I could be far off again):
1. You're not mafia because in that case you would've probably just killed me.
2. You don't really trust me (which I kinda thought already) and think I'm mafia. My guess would be that may be a (partially) cop role trying to investigate me or a role similar to a vig, trying to get me.
 
and it makes no sense for her kill to not have happened if she got bus driven because a doctor would've only stopped her if they had protected space but space is bulletproof so that would make no sense :notlikeduck:

Yeah Jinjo can't've shot Space if I was redirected by a bus driver unless my original target is also like bulletproof or something. I doubt this.

Why wouldn't someone redirect an arsonist, knowing who's doused is a good thing? But I'm a firefighter not an arsonist, and I also can't see why redirecting a firefighter would be bad.

I haven't noticed any analyzing that's added anything new. There is big distancing on his part and he doesn't seem to want to commit to any viewpoints -- case in point, when he said he had town vibes with Human but directly said he can't trust him.

huh, why would it be redirected to me....? @Midorikawa is there any way you weren't roleblocked, but were instead redirected as well? Or would you flat out told you were roleblocked

Mido's already said she's not the cop, and I believe that. There are also roles that one would generally use on people they do trust, like doctor or watcher or something like Human's Evolution Master, so you are ignoring some possibilities.
I doubt she'd've tried to shoot last night with two other vig claims also firing if her role was a vig-esque role.
I don't recall ever seeing Mido state a read on you so I can't say whether her role targetting you is more likely an indicate she doesn't or does trust you, and at this point I'm not sure specifying this is a great idea.

Totally understandable, as I said before I won't have much time to comment in a few days, being in that situation can be annoying. It was just my perspective, still open to change. And if I'm not mistaken, that means I wasn't the only one who had suspicions about Raven.

Agree, I already mentioned something similar in my readslist. About the analysis, maybe it's just that it's easy to surprise me lol.
 
why was it redirect to space specifically were they afraid the arsonist would attempt to bypass the bulletproof if the ignition is strongmanly? :notlikeduck:

I think distancing is done between two members of the same faction. If I were indeed a part of mafia, I would know that HD is not a member of the mafia, in such a case I would have been more confident and used buddying as a strategy, so that when HD flipped Town, I could hold it up saying they read me as Town and gain those brownie points.
But I am Town in this game, so I have no idea about anyone's alignment. Even though I can say that Raven and Dawning are my top Town reads, there's always some small fear at the back of the mind whether they are actually Town or could they be Mafia playing a really good game.
It's not like I don't believe them but there's at least a little bit doubt because I don't know it for sure. You can call that distancing or lack of commitment but those are just genuine thoughts and reads on my end.
The thing is when we are mafia, even though we are in minority, we know who's in our team and who's not, so we can be a bit more confident in our reads or at least give some fake reads.
But when we are Town, despite being in majority, we literally have no idea who's in our team, so it's natural to be a bit wary of everyone unless they are totally cleared as Town.
 
Sorry that ended up being a rather big post but I needed to clarify it. And sorry for double posting but I wanted to give a summary of the roles or actions claimed till now.

Dawning Winds: Claimed Firefighter. Said they were redirected on N1.

Space: Claimed 1x Vig, 1x Bulletproof, used their Vig shot on Jinjo

Midorikawa: Said they were roleblocked N1. Had targeted Raven.

No idea about any roles or actions of any other players till now. Please add if I am missing anything.

I don't want to reveal my role yet but will have to if y'all decide to lynch me today.

I think in this case Space is using it to kinda mean distancing yourself from the entire thread; sorta like the vibe of watching from a distance Eternal described? In which case I definitely agree; I've definitely gotten a similar vibe.

This is called "WIFOM", or "Wine in Front of Me". Yes, you could've opted to to use buddying if you were scum; but that's not a guarantee, and scum are often pretty hedgy with their reads, as you have been this game,

This is also called WIFOM. Saying that you're town accomplishes zero on the front of actually proving that you're town.

Yes, me or Raven could be Mafia. But. If we really seem that towny to you, there is no point in beating around the bush as you call us town. Just say you think we're town. The fact that you could be wrong in any of your reads is assumed, and you going out of your way to acknowledge that chance every time you bring the reads up just implies the read is a weaker read than you otherwise say it is; which makes it feel like you don't want to actually commit to the reads at all.
