Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl and Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver will be featured in the RTA in Japan Winter 2023 charity marathon, which is being held at the Bellesalle Iidabashi First hotel in Tokyo, Japan from December 26th to December 31st (JST). Ltd. and Pokémon Asia have announced the Pokémon Battle Festival Asia 2021, the very first event in Asia featuring tournaments, exhibition matches, and special shows across multiple Pokémon titles. The event will include tournaments for games including Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE and the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Each tournament will feature players from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan. The festival will be held on weekends from November 26, 2021 to February 13, 2022.

The previously announced distribution at Pokémon Center stores in Japan, has also been confirmed for the Pokémon Center in Singapore. Players visiting Pokémon Center Singapore during the month of their birthday will receive a code card, which will then give Happiny when redeemed in-game in either Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, or Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
