The release date for Tinkaton, the next Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE has been announced — It will be available to play from December 12th. Tinkaton is a Physical-Attacking Melee All-Rounder with Novice Difficulty. At the time of writing, no further details have on Tinkaton have been officially announced, however the Pokémon has been available in the public test server since November 21st.
Pokémon UNITE has updated to Version 1.16.2.9 as of 7:00am (UTC) on November 21st. These updates, dubbed "Freezing Rush Pt. 3" (Japanese: 「フリージング・ラッシュ Part3」), bring balance adjustments for a variety of Pokémon and various adjustments to held items, alongside bug fixes and Shop and Event updates ahead of the upcoming Eevee Festival events.
The update notes for the Pokémon Unite Public Test Server have revealed that the next Pokémon to join the fray will be Tinkaton and Galarian Rapidash. Tinkaton will be a Melee All-Rounder while Galarian Rapidash will be a Ranged All-Rounder. No further information has been revealed about these Pokémon from any of the other official sources. While their release dates for the main game are yet to be revealed, these two Pokémon will be available on the test server from November 21st.
To celebrate the "Shiny Rayquaza Appears" campaign for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Black Rayquaza will appear in the Theia Sky Ruins in Pokémon UNITE from Thursday, December 5th to Thursday, January 16th. Black Rayquaza will appear in the final two minutes before the end of the battle.
November 21st is Eevee Day! To celebrate the Eeveelutions, Pokémon UNITE are holding various Eevee Festival events until December 5th. Players can obtain the Unite License for one of Eevee's Evolutions simply by logging in. Additional events include the Eevee Festival, which will allow players to obtain a second Eeveelution license, and the return of the Eevee Appeal-o-rama quick battle mode.
Psyduck is the latest Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE. Psyduck is a special attacking Ranged Supporter with Novice difficulty, and can be purchased from the in-game shop for Aeos gem 790 Aeos Gems. It will also be available for Aeos coin 13,000 Aeos Coins from next week.

Pokémon UNITE Weekend, which is held on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month, is back again from November 2nd at 12:00am (UTC), through to November 3rd at 11:59pm (UTC). As with like previous months, all Pokémon licenses will be free to use (outside of Ranked matches) over the weekend, along with the ability to earn a large amount of Aeos coins, Aeos energy, and battle points over the weekly limit. All players will receive a 1-Day Battle Point Boost Card upon login each day, allowing them to double the amount of Battle Points earned after each battle. The energy multiplier for Aeos energy earned after each battle will also be increased, with this multiplier stacking with any Energy Boost Tanks used.
A new Battle Pass for Season 27 is now available to buy in Pokémon UNITE from October 24th, running through to December 4th. This Battle Pass features the Holowear Palace Style: Mimikyu and Costume Party Style: Trevenant. Pokémon UNITE updated to Version 1.16.2.7 at 12pm (UTC) on October 19th, ahead of the start of Battle Pass Season 27. This update brings balance changes to the newest Pokémon, Darkrai, along with Shop and Event updates for the the ongoing Halloween events. Specifically, this update fixes many of Darkrai's shortcomings such as low win-rate, proximity needed to deal damage, and damage dealt by abilities and boosted attackes. Additionally, this update also brings bug fixes where moves of other Pokémon were not functioning as intended.

Darkrai is the latest Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE alongside various Haloween events. Darkrai is a special attacking Ranged Speedster with Expert difficulty, and can be obtained by completing the "Darkrai's Nightmare Periphery Challenge" event. From October 24th, Dark will be available for purchase from the in-game shop for 840 Aeos Gems or 15,000 Aeos Coins. As is usual for a new Pokémon release, a new set of Holowear has also been made available, with Costume Party Style: Darkrai soon to be available in Zirco Trading for 1,050 Aeos Gems. This Holowear features Audio/Visual FX for Movement.

Pokémon UNITE will end service in Belgium and the Netherlands from November 30th, 2025. Players in the two countries will no longer be able to purchase new Aeos Gems and other in-game items from October 31st, this year. While no official reason has been given for this termination, it has been speculated that this may be coming about due to the in-game mechanics of reward boxes qualifying as gambling elements under local laws, which would place certain regulatory restrictions and obligations on the game.
