Legendary Pokemon

So the first generation of Pokemon is old news now in GO but there were obviously 5 Pokemon that were never made avalible and now, of the second gen roster, 6 more are excluded.

The legendary Pokemon... What do you think? How and when do you think these guys will be made available?

The year anniversary of Pokémon GO is fast approaching…

How would we find them? Would they be extremely difficult to catch?

Current rumours are that the three legendary birds will be available around July of this year. Not sure exactly how they will be found as of yet.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they release them during the first year anniversary for an event. That would be a fitting way to celebrate the game, although I'd also hope that they'd include something for the regional exclusive Pokemon at some point or another.

I too hope for a special regional Pokémon event, as I am still missing Mr. Mime and Farfetch'd.

At this point it seems like they will be available as Raid Bosses. Most probably of the highest difficulty.

Considering that I don't know if I'd be able to join in one of the higher Raid Bosses, I kind of hope that they'll be available through other means as well.

I'm afraid that for the time being, they won't be. Seems like they'll be Level 5 Raid Bosses, I could see the Legendary Birds only appearing at Gyms of their respective teams.
It also seems like they'll be unable to defend Gyms, only be used offensively.
