it's better to use the terms 'swag' and 'yolo' ironically, but even though 'yolo' is just a poor carpe diem/memento mori i think it's an endearing term. i use 'swag' all the time, listening to lil b a lot tends to make you do that
anyways, most fandoms. ironic i guess since i'm on a pokemon forum.
i'm also not really much of a fan of classic rock. though i like some dad rock every now and then i'm not too big on it.
(previous one is part of April Fool's Joke, I actually love rainy days)
Apologies if I've posted this before, but I don't think I have. But the V for Vendetta film. The graphic novel is just better, and while the film isn't quite as much of an abomination as some other Alan Moore adaptations on the surface, it really fucks with it thematically, changes some of the most interesting characters and moments, and overall takes a really brilliant, subversive, subtle work and makes it really shallow, anvilicious and cliché. Ugh.
Typing without capital letters. Even I cannot do without the help of Shift key. And I even hate (and uninterested in) Korean musics (excluding Gangnam Style).
I really wanted to like it, but it wasn't anything like the praise it was getting. And the character Madoka is one of the most irritating female protagonists I've ever seen in anime.
I find that song dire, but when I express this to people they look at me like I've donned a Nazi outfit. Apparently free speech and right to personal opinion doesn't extend to the Beatles (I actually quite like some Beatles music, just not that song).
