Everyone's decision was unanimous. They wanted to avenge the death of their Governor, and also to make sure something like this will never happen again. Throughout this war, they had fought together and they continued to do it until the very end. They were ready to accept the consequences for it, whatever it may be.

You actually have one of the most important jobs in the organization. So important that the mafia survives and continues to survive because of you. Who killed the rogue mafia gang-leader in the street yesterday with a machine gun? Why, that old woman with the cats! Nonsense? Nah, you also have proof to show it. That’s how skilled you are.

Painting an innocent to be seen as one of the mafia’s goons could be so demanding – that after you use this ability, you’ll have to wait for 2 night phases before you can use it again (for instance, after using it on Night 1, you can use it again only on Night 3). Not even the most skilled police officers will be able to realize that your pawn is a normal, innocent poor being. During a Night, when you wish to use your skills, send us a PM with “Frame [Player]”. The target, unknowingly to themselves, will be seen as Mafia in any kind of checks for those 2 night phases. However, since framing the same person more than once may lead to suspicion, you cannot frame a target more than once.

As the final member of the Inganno family fell down, the Town rejoiced. They had managed to survive against their clutch over the neighbourhood, with a bit of luck and much more skill. They made sure that they could never get one up over any of them, not even once through this war.

Every surviving member of the Town felt proud. They had avenged the brave efforts of their few members who fell.

Since you’re new to the team, you don’t bind yourself to the “rules” followed by the force. Especially when it comes to investigating one person, looking into their background, social status, ties, etc. Hence in this second war against the mafia, each night, you’ll pick a target and check if the target belongs to the mafia, or is an innocent townsfolk. Your aim is simple: help the citizens of New York City to the best of your skill and experience. Since the First War is long over, you’ve hoped that finally everything is in order again and you can work till your retirement in peace. But somehow, somewhere, you feel there still seems to be danger lurking about and that the citizens of this town would require your services...

So you returned with all of your tools. Your skills of finding wounds and healing them are excellent, and you are fast at it too. You can even remove a bullet from any wound which would save someone from being killed by mafia. However, you choose to remain indoors during days to avoid any collisions with gangs, so you only tend to the injured during nights. Send the hosts a PM with “Protect [Player]” to prevent a player from being killed during that Night phase. This action can be used once per Night phase.

You didn’t take those years of psychology lessons and training sessions for nothing. You can tell when someone is lying a mile away. Oh and you don’t take lying all too well. Just ask your mom who told you storks bring babies...

Heard any statement that someone said? Well, it’s up for your intuitive – more like, nearly psychic – powers to figure out of there were any lies among the contents of the posts. While you will not be able to figure out what exact part was a lie, you will surely know if the person was a liar or not.
Be careful, in such a harsh war, it’s hard not to lie, isn’t it? Whether the person is innocent or a mafia…
You can use this ability during Nights. You may choose any one post (minimum of 3 lines) in the public thread from the previous Day or during the Night that you’re using the ability and PM it to us. You will be notified whether the post contains a lie.

You’re the Inventor.

You consider yourself as one of the greatest inventors of your time. In fact you hail yourself as the greatest inventor since Thomas Edison! Only one problem: you don’t exactly know what your “inventions” can do. You just throw stuff together and hope it works. But you aren’t going to let something as trivial as that stop you on your way to greatness!

Even though you may not know what they do, you still have some pretty neat inventions marked A, B, C, D and E (if you knew what they did, you could actually give them proper names!). One actually allows you to protect someone, one helps you to check on a person’s alliance, one helps you to check the role of a person, one helps you to make a target helpless preventing them from using their ability and one can actually kill the target. You just don’t know which does which. But no matter. You can still give the inventions to another player so that they can find out its effect and use it for themselves.
Send us a PM during the night phase, “Give Invention [A, B, C, D or E] to [Player]” and your target will be given a one-time use with the ability of that respective invention.

So many talents you had. People underestimate you when they see you on the streets. Odd looking clothes, face painted white, and…pantomiming. However, this is your way of seeking what you can truly do. Your grandfather was a police officer in the far city of Los Angeles. Your father is a retired lawyer. Your mother is a nurse. Your brother is a painter. This not enough? One of your cousins is in college preparing to become a doctor.
You were continuously encouraged to continue any of those legacies running in your blood, but you could not make your choice. So you’re observing people as you make small money by pantomiming on the streets.

Your true talents come into reality in times of crisis however. Well, once you encountered a boy with a light sprain in his foot, and applied the right medical criteria that prevented his condition from becoming worse. Your knowledge in the police force and their system is rather profound too. As is painting graffiti on the streets. You’re sort of a jack-of-all-trades so to speak. Should you discover a dead citizen, you can choose to carry on in that person’s place for the sake of the city.
Among the dead townies, you are allowed to choose one. You will gain the abilites that the selected town player had. However, you will not gain any results or information that the dead player had. Also, if the target had a limit on the usage of their ability, you will gain that limit as well.
Send the hosts a PM with “Inherit : [Player]” and you will get that player’s ability. Be careful with who you choose, as you can only inherit once.

You’re the Investigative Reporter.

In all honesty, you’re pretty new to the field. You don’t exactly have any experience in this, unless you count being a reporter for the school newspaper. But that doesn’t mean you’re any less skilled. Need to snoop around to get some important info? You’re going to get it even if you have to break in through the basement window. No one can hide from your watchful eyes. They could take your secret to the grave and you will dig it out.

While you were a reporter for your school’s newspaper, you also loved visiting police stations (did you dream to become a police officer?). Probably because of the indirect experience, you have been profoundly interested in criminals. When it comes to discussing mafia, you are not easily trumped. When you look into a townsfolks’ history and say that he’s truly an innocent citizen, chances are, you are correct. Your resources are not so steady during the upcoming war against the Mafiosi. Hence you would only be able to check a target’s alliance three times during the game. When you wish to investigate a target, send us a PM with “Investigate [Player]” and you will find out what action/ability the target has.

You haven’t forgotten your other talent, have you? Three times during the game, you can announce any kind of information or anything you wish to say to the town (report). You will remain anonymous and if you act right, you’ll remain safe even when your reports go public. Once you file a report in public, you don’t want the town to find you quickly, so you will have to wait a day phase and night phase until you can use another report. When you wish to post a report, send the hosts the contents that you wish to post. The report will be revealed in public along with the upcoming update.

You’re the Roleblocker.

You’re that lone cop who has to stay at the station late at night while the others are either taking the night off or going around eating doughnuts. You’ve got to do something to pass the time. So why not grab some random misbehaving guy from the street and lock him up for the whole night? Not only do you get to do something, you also make the streets a peaceful place. Yes, model citizen right there.

During a Night when you wish to activate your ability, send the hosts a PM with “Block [Player]”. The target will be unable to use any of their actions during the Night phase. Also, any action that targets your blocked player will be cancelled as well. You don’t want to let anyone realize how you pass your free time, do you? This ability may be used every Night phase.

Politics isn’t something new to you. You’ve been attending these rallies and meetings probably since you were just four years old! You know how to deal with crowds with your inspirational and long-winded speeches. Very few can say they have people hanging on their every word. You’re one of them.

During the day when it comes to providing evidence (that’s what you call your loud voice, more like), you’re skilled. You’re so skilled that your opinions are twice as convincing compared to other people, literally. During Days, all votes that you make will count for two rather than one.

You are allied with the Town. You win if the Town succeeds in eradicating all of the Mafia.

You’ve saw and experienced many things on the battlefield during the World War. Some happy moments and even more horrifying moments. Maybe that’s why you’ve become such a hardened individual long after you’ve retired from the army. Though it’s been a while your skills are still as sharp as ever and you do not hesitate to take up arms if that’s what required to bring peace to this town.

For this war, you have your special friend – a silenced, ‘cold’ pistol. The pistol can hold only one bullet at each time, so be careful when choosing who to target. You make your own bullets for this pistol so that it cannot be traced – once you have used up a bullet it takes time to make another one. Hence, once you have used your ability once, you have to wait till the third night after the kill in order to have a shot at killing someone again (for instance, if you killed on Night 2, you cannot kill again until Night 5).
Send the hosts a PM during a night phase with “Kill [Player]” in order to use your ability.

However, one of the main orchestrators of the win was actually never a member of the Town.

He was just a lone immigrant who came to this place with his 2 friends, hoping to just live peacefully in this new home.

But somehow or the other they got roped into it all, but ended up helping each other and the residents achieve their dream.

You’ve been through thick and thin together and you know each others’ strengths and weaknesses, just as they know yours. You came to New York in hopes of finding a job with your two friends. Ever since the first war against the mafia got over years back, you’ve hoped that all your problems were over. But you can feel it; danger is still lurking about. You just hope you three can survive through it in one piece.

You’re the investigative one of the group. Maybe a bit too curious for your own good, the others’ always say. Hence you are the most informative one of the trio. Once you have chosen a person to seek information about, then you will get the info. In this case, you will be able to figure out if a person is an innocent, or is a Mafioso, or figure out what sort of powers the target brings to this war. Send the hosts a PM with “Investigate [Player] for alliance” or “Investigate [Player] for power”. Each can be used only once during the game.

Also, you are very close to your two friends, that should your life be threatened, they will protect your life in one way or another. This power will be activated twice. Be careful, because the same count applies to your two teammates (as in, your whole team has 2 lives which may be used up by any of you). If the two extra lives are used up by your team, then all of you will be left vulnerable.

You’re the popular one of the group. Not only within the group, but also among others as well. Probably because you’re the most personable of the three and generally more friendly. Also you’re more familiar with the culture and gossip of the townsfolk. Even though your true devotion is meant for the friends you shared your life with, you will be regarded as Town should anyone investigate you.

Being familiar with the gossip, you can easily join the gossip and even spread any story. It can even be a lie, but damn it, who cares that much about a gossip anyway? If you send the hosts a PM with any content you wish to have posted in the public thread, it will be posted along with the update.

Also, you are very close to your two friends, that should your life be threatened, they will protect your life in one way or another. This power will be activated twice. You’re that sly yet serious friend of the trio. You’ve made some friends after moving into the city…and what? You realize that these new buddies are actually all mafia! What luck? Due to your frequent interactions with your mafia buddies, you will be seen as Mafia when someone checks you.

However, this has not gone in vain. You have learned useful skills after hearing many stories from mafia goons about their own missions. Some of them involve eavesdropping on people for easy information. Just find a suitable person and eureka! This guy knew more than his face suggested.
Send the hosts a PM with “Spy on [Player]”. You will earn three messages from the target, either ones that they received or sent. However, any names other than yours and the target’s will be removed.

Also, you are very close to your two friends, that should your life be threatened, they will protect your life in one way or another. This power will be activated twice. There was also another one, a lone figure among the happy crowd. He covered his disfigured face with his hat, and was silently limping away from them all.

But he was happy inside...the Town had helped him eliminate the one person who destroyed whatever he had built. His empire, the one that he built with years of effort, the Giustizia Family. He was none other than Alberto Giustizia, the one who was rumored to have been killed in the First War...

Everything was taken from him by Basilio Inganno. He killed all of his trusted caporegimes and pretty much every other of his trusted members. And the few he didn't kill, he bought into his organization...

How could he?? After all he did for Inganno.

But, guess it was fated this should be how he gets his justice. This should be how Giustizia gets his revenge...


Doctor Who,

You’re the Nexus.

You’re Alberto Giustizia: The ‘Mafia’s Untouchable’. The feared godfather of the former mafia stronghold of the block, Giustizia Family. Believed to have died in that epic clash between your family and those damn police forces. Those damn bastards shot your only son in cold blood and you lost your usual cool. The history marks you dead, thanks to one of your caporegimes that was discovered, covered in bullets all over. The police took that body as you, while you survived. You weren’t without your own wounds however. But hey, who’d recognize you when you lost an eye to a bullet, and you are limping during your ten-minute walk?
Damn that Inganno who made a family from your own empire. Now, that mafia spirit inside you sense a turmoil in the air. Perhaps a chance to retake your position in that empire is here. In the clash between the town and that blasted Inganno family.

And you have your own methods for this brilliant plan. People might want to target you for their own intents. But hey, you don’t exist in the first place! And you happened to be an actor in your younger days…so, if anyone targets you, it’s simple. Wear the face of another person that you find on the block, and then have that poor victim be targeted instead of you. This is a talent that gave you your nickname, ‘Untouchable’. It has become a second nature that you can’t resist at this point, given that you carry that small bag with tools needed to fake your face.
Send the hosts a PM with any message among the lines of “I activate my ability this night” during a Night phase. Any action or ability, including a kill, that targets you, will randomly target another person instead during that Night. Be sure to time your ability well, as this ability is once used, you cannot use it again until the second Night after you used it (for instance, after activating it on Night 1, you can only activate it again on Night 3).

You are allied with yourself. Survive to the end to win.

Everyone had played their part in winning this war. Every member who died had all contributed in their own way.
But the Inganno Family had also put up a good fight, but luck was just not on their side.
