No matter how much I like Azelf, I like Suicune better.

suicune is a version mascot, Azelf isn't. aside from other, better reasons, Suicune wins.

Suicune all around, one of my favorite legends. I like the 1st and 2nd generations best, so this may be a bit biased...

Anyways, I like Suicune better, but Azelf is still awesome. They're easily the best of their respective trios.

It's pretty close. Azelf's design wins out slightly, but Suicune had a good supporting role in a movie. I didn't like it getting more focus than the other Beasts in the games, but its sideplot was fairly interesting...

Anyhow, there should be a special person for this forum section here just to test these theoretical matches out, to see what is better.

But there is the issue of the trainer/s battling, stats, level, moves etc...

Anyhow X2, Suicune wins. Always.
