Contest Hypno vs Malamar

I'm honestly surprised this hasn't been done yet.

Both pokemon are psychic types known for their strong hypnotic powers. Who has the better design? Who would win in a battle? Who is more useful? And who can spawn more NSFW jokes?

Malamar for the awesome typing. It could use more moves, but its still better then Hypno. It has a cool and creative method of evolution, too.

Malamar is my preferred. I always hated Hypnos design while Malamars is okay. Malamar would also have the upper hand in battle thanks to being a Dark type.

Malamar has an amazing design and better typing, plus it isn't often compared to pedophiles, like Hypno. So, Malamar.

Malamar, hands down. Its design could be better, but it's still cool, wheras Hypno's design is weird. In a bad way, imo. Plus Malamar is a squid. I like squids. <3

Malamar would obviously outspeed and kill any Hypno will Night Slash. Wouldn't be surprised if it didn't 1-shot considering Malamar's unimpressive offense, but what's Hypno going to do back?

Malamar, as Hypno is just creepy (especially its Dex entries), slow and can't hit hard.
