They are mainly the same, plant on their backs and they walk on all fours, but which is better? Torterra has a better design, and tree=better than flower.

Well, Venosaur is an older Pokemon....How about a peek at their moves?The better the oves, then I will choose that Pokemon.

Venosaur's moves:Tackle,Growl,Leech Seed,Vine Whip,Growl,Leech Seed,Vine Whip,PoisonPowder,SleepPowder,Take Down,Razor Leaf,Sweet Scent,Growth,Double-Edge,Petal Dance,Worry Seed,Synthesis,SolarBeam and Frenzy Plant.

Torterra's Moves:Wood Hammer,Tackle,Withdraw,Absorb,Razor Leaf,Withdraw,Absorb,Razor Leaf,Curse,Bite,Mega Drain,Earthquake,Leech Seed,Synthesis,Crunch,Giga Drain,Leaf Storm, and Frenzy Plant.

Torterra has the best moves, but only because it is a newer Pokemon, and it has new oves that weren't made when Venosaur was out.Even though I said that the Pokemon with the best moves would be the one I would choose, I still go for Venosaur.

Venosaur has lots of stat-raising moves like Growth.It also has lots of stat-reducing moves like Sweet Scent.Torterra has mainly straight strong attack moves.
THE TWO'S STATS:
VENOSAUR:HP WOULD BE 2,ATTACK 3,DEFENSE 2,SP. ATTACK 4,SP. DEFENSE 3, AND SPEED 3.
TORTERRA:HP WOULD BE 3,ATTACK 4,DEFENSE 3,SP.ATTACK 3,SP.DEFENSE 2, AND SPEED 2.
I choose Venosaur.
