Poor Gastrodon needs these games. Tyere's been no games since Pt where both it's forms have been catchable. Same with Shellos.

Just going to pop in here and say something...o3o.
I know the idea of HG/SS remakes is pretty ridiculous, but if they were to EVER remake it (i'd like a sequel over a remake, definitely, but this is about remakes, so...), then they'd need to include Giovanni and Silver, something more with those two. (And if we all think it's true, then Ariana and Mars need to be included in it) I know it seems like a silly idea, but I just feel like their story could have some potential...I know they had the Celebi event in HG/SS but I feel like that wasn't enough...I dunno what the plot would be, but I just feel like this whole thing with Givoanni/Silver isn't really done yet. Does anybody feel the same like me, or is it just me? ^u^
Hmm, Lucario is SSB4, ay?
SINNOH CONFIRMED!!!
Seriously though, it seems like GF feels only Sinnoh characters are good enough to see the light of a new region. Well, SSB4 doesn't have a region, but you can get my drift.

Not really. Lucario is simply an iconic Pokemon. Furthermore, if they put Mega Lucario in (which I can see them doing, Mega evolution goes hand in hand with Final Smash), then he's representing XY, not DP.

You could get them from Curtis/Yancy by trade. They even give you hidden abilities.
But yeah, I miss Gastrodon
PALKIA IN SMASH BROS? SINNOH CONFIRMED AGAIN!
On a serious note, I'd add 100 Pokemon to the dex. Perhaps 50/50 of Kalos and Unova? Or 33 33 33 of Unova, Kalos and ????
I'm betting on Goomy. He'd fit right in around Pastoria.
First off, I apologize in advance if threads like this aren't allowed here or if there is already a thread like this. I am not aware of either so I thought I would start this thread and get everyone's inputs. So here goes:
Sorry I know it's too soon but something occurred to me that made me realize that the eventual Sinnoh remake games may come sooner than expected. And here's the reason why: if trends from pre-Generation V were followed, then the Sinnoh remakes were supposed to come out at Generation VI. The only reason why it may not is because ORAS came a generation late. But I think there may be a reason why Hoenn remakes were delayed: because of Mega Evolutions. Game Freak may have thought ahead of time and they must have realized that it may be a good idea to not introduce all the Mega Evolutions in the first set of Generation VI games but rather release a handful at a time every time they release the next Generation VI games (and thanks to patches, this was possible). If Hoenn remakes were released in Generation V, then it would have caused some inconveniences when trying to release some Hoenn Mega Evolutions (especially the Hoenn starters). So this is my speculation as to why the Hoenn remakes were released a generation later than we all speculated. And then here comes my main point.
There is no reason to delay releasing the Sinnoh remakes another generation if Game Freak is planning on releasing them eventually (and they probably are, looking at the Hoenn remakes). Why? Because Mega Evolutions are already released. There is already a lack of Sinnoh Mega Evolutions as it is and a Sinnoh remake is the perfect opportunity to release more Sinnoh Mega Evolutions (especially Mega Evolutions of the Sinnoh starters). So yeah, here are my reasons for why I think a Sinnoh remake is likely at this point and why it will be released sooner than expected. And once again, I am really sorry if either threads like these aren't allowed on here or if a thread of this topic was already released.
Mega Evolutions have nothing to do with it. ORAS was delayed until 6th gen because 5th gen remained on the DS. So by that logic, DP remakes will probably be in either 7th or 8th gen depending on whether or not 7th gen is on the 3DS or its successor (which depends on how long Nintendo wants the 3DS on the market, if it takes them until say, 2018 for the next handheld to launch, we'll probably get another 5th gen situation). That being said, I do think some of the more prominent 4th gen Pokemon will have their Megas saved until the remakes.
Oh right, I forgot about the DS/3DS issue at that time. But that doesn't mean that Mega Evolution wasn't factored into the decision to delay ORAS a generation. And also, notice the lack of Sinnoh Mega Evolutions at this time. Yes, if there will indeed be a Generation VII, then Game Freak may as well save Sinnoh Mega Evolutions for that time. But there is no reason to wait that long to release Sinnoh remakes. Like I said before, if ORAS was released on-schedule, then if Game Freak kept up with the trend of releasing remakes two generations after the originals were released, then Sinnoh remakes are due this generation. I don't really think that Game Freak intended to have only three Sinnoh Mega Evolutions within Generation VI. That is screaming Sinnoh remakes to me.
In my humble opinion i hope we get a sequel instead of a remake, Platinum is already an highly polished game and a remake would be imo redudant (unless somehow the remake of Platinum would be better than Platinum itself which would just blow my mind), and a remake of Diamond and Pearl would make them just as good as Platinum which also would be redudant, and based on all this i hope we get a sequel to D/P/PT instead of a remake.
