What video games are you playing now?

I wish I could get it, but I don't have a PS5.
that's a shame (it does kind of suck having such highly anticipated games being exclusive to a console that's relatively difficult to get) :<
i'm sure eventually you'll nag it, though, whether it gets ported or you land a ps5. literally as long as you like rpgs in general and/or the ffvii saga specifically, you'll have a blast, i'm sure.

Been playing Breath of Fire 3 again. Mostly grinding and farming for stat-boosting items like Life Shards and Proteins, but also completed a few Masters while I was at it. I've also been manipulating the RNG of the Copy Shop in the Faerie Village so I can get duplicates of certain items like Rings of Fire and such, along with trying to get some good items from the Explorer and Gift functions (like rarer stat-boosting items like Swallow Eyes and, with some RNG manipulation, an Ivory Charm, one of the most coveted items in the game). The party is on its way to Junk Town to get access to a ship so we can cross the ocean. Which means Momo is a necessity in this part, given her status as an engineer and the only tech-savvy member of the party. Ryu is Level 38, Nina is Level 36, Rei is Level 28, Momo is Level 30, Garr is Level 30, and Peco is Level 26.

Beat gym 2 in Pokemon black thanks to Kenshi the swak and teto the watchog

My copy of TWEWY arrived this morning, so that's what I've been playing all afternoon. Only a couple of hours in and I already love the OST; if the rest of the tracks are as good as Calling this could easily become one of my favourite games of all time lol. Still getting used to controlling Neku and his partner on both screens but I'll get there.

I wish I could get it, but I don't have a PS5.
Do you have a gaming PC? It'll be ported there like Remake sooner or later.

Training my team in Platinum for the Sinnoh Elite Four, I absolutely miss the teamwide experience of later generations because leveling up is SLOW. I want to train up a Pachirisu for its Pickup ability (aka: free Rare Candies on occasion) but I also need the raw EXP....

In the meantime, I knew Barry would interrupt prior to challenging the E4 so I assembled a prospective final team of:
* Lucario (lead), Staraptor, Umbreon, Garchomp, Floatzel, Infernape

His Staraptor surprised with a quick U-Turn into Heracross but one Fly took that one out, followed up by a crit Fly (which cut through Intimidate for a one-shot).
His Rapidash got into weather wars with my Garchomp, me pelting it with Sandstorm while suffering a burn from Will-O-Wisp. Sandstorm evasion saved his tail quite a few times before he went down, but the dragon nearly took Roserade with him.
Umbreon took out Roserade then got walled by Snorlax's Rest, but that gave me time to swap in Lucario and set up a Swords Dance, after which I oneshot both Snorlax and Empoleon for the win.

Dusting off my Switch and starting to play it regularly. I’ve been playing Super Mario Maker 2 (Made some courses and uploaded them), and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, plus MarioKart 8 Deluxe. Will get a microSD card soon some can play MLB The Show 24 on it.

Made it to the celestial tower in Pokemon black. Aside from a few evolutions, my team is complete. My team being Kuina the archen, RikuTazumi the palpitatoad, SandPlanet the krokorok, Ohime-sama the servine, Hachi the stoutland, and Tosenbo the sygilyph.

I'm basically always playing Destiny 2 and FF14, but aside from that last month I just started getting into Guilty Gear Strive and I'm learning that pretty well.

With the free PS5 upgrade having come out I'm back into playing Fallout 4 now. I played my previous file on and off for a good 4 years so it seems like a good time to start a fresh file now on my PS5 to eat up some good gaming time while I wait for other games to come out.

Since I've ordered the second Kurohyou game off of Amazon, I've decided to replay the first game, Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinso on the PSP. Honestly, it's the only Like a Dragon/Yakuza game I enjoy and played all the way through. No hate to the main games, some characters are great, but I just can't really finish any of them, they bore me like halfway through usually. Plus, Tatsuya Ukyo is my favorite protagonist in the series; like his games, he's way more gritty and "dirty", and his character development in the game is great.

Heading off for victory road in Pokemon black soon, just want to make sure my team is properly leveled (about 50) before I fight the elite four

Finished Kingdom Hearts a few days ago and finally FINALLY finished Dual Destinies today after like two months lol.
Congrats!! Thoughts?
So now I'm playing FF7 Remake and Spirit of Justice.
Yippee :yay: I really really hope you like them, they are excellent!! (Correct me if I'm wrong but you played Crisis Core, correct? (GOOD if true) I promise it actually makes the main story of FF7 so much more emotional since you like.. know the whole deal with Cloud's identity issues (though Crisis Core is even more emotional if you play FF7 first because knowing what's going to happen to those poor boys and Aerith, and it's so painful) (it's a very very very emotional saga all around. I hate to be that person but if you're reading this and are not familiar with FF7... seriously, I cannot put how badly I recommend these games into words) and whatnot).. so so so so so good. If you haven't played the OG, I hope you enjoy the Aerith, Tifa, and Cloud you get to meet here... as well as the rest of the cast :)

Anyway... you know what I said about playing FF1 again? I kinda lied :V -- emphasis on the "kinda," because I actually DID pick it up (my party members definitely totally aren't named Zidane, Steiner, Vivi, and Garnet at all or anything stupid like that), but ended up setting it right back down. - -; sorry.

I think my chronological playthrough is gonna have to wait: I'm finding myself quite occupied with Dragon Quest XI at the moment...

Swords suck in this game. Luminary and Eight should have Greatswords, Erik should have Knives (Boomerangs are okay for crowd control but are worthless in boss fights. Go for them if you're not interested in having him in your boss lineup or you don't mind using Rectification a bunch), and, uh... Sylvando's forte is never gonna be with weaponry (you want Showmanship for Hustle Dance, and at the endgame you should go for his Chivalry path because Ladies First will let you give one of the female party members a free turn, which is great for some fights where you want massive physical or magical damage from Jade or Veronica or need to give Serena another turn to heal), but the Swords path is really really really awful there. I did Whips because they're the best at making use of Sylv's Charm, but Knives are like... fine. Don't waste his SP on Dual Wielding though lmao

Started making progress on Ace Attorney: Justice For All (just got to the day 2 investigation on 2-2) and I am sincerely hoping that there aren't as many 3-day trials as in the first game because for some reason I'm not as interested in these cases as I was with 1-2 or 1-4. For 2-2, at least, visiting Kurain Village and getting to know more about Maya's spirit medium practices is cool, but the fact that I'm seemingly supposed to prove the defendant's innocence by linking the crime to a supernatural mishap (somehow? I dunno yet) for some reason takes the wind out of my sails. Also, is there a point to the psyche lock mechanic outside of just adding a health bar to the process of presenting specific evidence during investigations (a factor that was already in AA1)?

Also, I had a Fire Emblem Awakening playthrough in-progress (on chapter 11) but had to pause it the last Sunday of April because I left my 2DS behind at home for finals season. Now that I'm done with finals and out of my dorm, though, I can actually resume the game!

Okay, I have great news regarding the 3-day trials. There are no more in the series ever again. Like, none. 1-3 and 1-5 are THE ONLY three-day trials in the entire franchise. It's all 1/2-day ones from JFA on.

As for your second thing! They actually do serve a purpose in the story, but most of it comes later on, so just wait a sec on that one. They will come up a lot though jsyk (the psyche-locks themselves, I mean).
