Hope the humans are in it...because, right now, this is like, the first time humans have been absent from the OP and ED.

And I also hope finally for a group shot of all the gang's Pokemon...I thought that the first OP would do that since the end was so empty, looking as if they'd add members, but they never did. :/

This. Not sure what to think about the new ending...

...but I'm happy to get rid of the current one. It just lacks any inspiration or passion.

It's about time! It was dreadful to hear Ieru Kana for eight and a half months, so I would welcome a new ending.

I happen to like the current intro they use now...There isn't anything like it...Although, we're now 50+ episodes into BW, I was wondering why they didn't change the intro after the first 50 episodes like in DP...but then again, this isn't DP as BW is not as big and is moving much faster...Well, can't wait to see what they come up with.

I love the opening song... the animation is getting old though. But Ieru Kana is horrible. And that seems to be the consensus around here.

I for one would be thrilled for Mamoru Miyano or Aoi Yuki to sing the new closing theme.

I personally don't quite see why people think the opening has been going on for too long, especially when comparing it to others...
First openings of series have always lasted a long time, 80+ for TOS, 69 for AG... and depending on how you count it, 77 or 94(!) for DP.

Ieru kana...no me gusta. I welcome this change...hopefully, it'll be a cover song for one of the main human characters? :'D Deeeeeentoooooo

I don't mind them keeping the song, but I wish they could change up the OP's animation a bit...I guess making those 3D models was expensive, or something.

For such a big, long-running series, I'm kind of surprised how Pokemon doesn't get a lot of songs compared to other animes...Gintama, for example, changes its opening every 25 episodes, and its ending every 10 or so probably. Back in the original series of Pokemon they, had, like, tons of endings, but now it seems they keep them forever. 0.o

BW is faster paced compared to DP:

DP's gym badges: DP18, DP37, DP68, DP83, DP102...
BW's gym badges: BW06, BW16, BW23, BW50, BW61...

New ending, great. I've felt like they've needed a new one for the longest of time, I'm getting more tired of the opening then the ending, it's not even relevant anymore. I could see Aoi Yuki singing this ending theme she's new and by default cheaper, Mamoru Miyano might hell of a too expensive, and Rica of course is tied to Pokemon so her singing it would be no surprise. Aoi Yuki might be the obvious one to sing it if Rica isn't, she's new to the voice acting scene and Pokemon(And Madoka :p) are the only real popular shows she's VA'd for. So, imagine the writers will take this chance to show off that voice of hers. Iris ending Theme, or Kibago theme would be obvious, like Pochama and Hikari's. IDK much about Iris's VA, since she's relatively still too new, but I know that she's done a cover song for Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, so at least she has the ability to do one if needed. Everyone except for Masato and Kenji got one, after all (sure Musashi and Kojiro had to share theirs, but hey, they got one). The theme could further establish her personality and goals.


Pokemon could've given Megumi Hayashibara a chance to record one for Musashi, since she's a high profile VA/singer, but they didn't...
