A Mega Heracross ex Drop Event has now commenced in Pokémon TCG Pocket, running through to May 21st at 10:59pm (PDT)/ May 22nd at 5:59am (UTC), offering players the opportunity to challenge a series of special solo battles to attempt to obtain promo card packs and other rewards.

This will be the third Pokémon Center currently located outside Japan, joining branches in Singapore and Taipei, Taiwan. While its exact opening date is still forthcoming, the store will be opening in CentralWorld, the ninth largest shopping center in the world, located in central Bangkok.

A pair of events are launching in Pokémon Masters EX today as part of the game's annual celebration of Japan's Golden Week holiday period. Last year's Special Event: Rolling in Gold makes its return alongside the game's latest High Score Event, Ice and Dragon Conqueror, together with a one-time-only 5★-Select Fair Exclusive Scout ×11.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has launched the Pulsing Aura Emblem Event, giving players the opportunity to acquire emblems to set on their in-game player profiles. This event will be available until May 12th, at 10:59pm (PDT) / May 13th, at 5:59am (UTC).

Like the episode’s title, this was a stellar finale for Pokémon Horizons! I can’t believe the main story is done! As someone who’s been following this story since day one, it’s a bit emotional to see how much Liko, Roy, and the others have come so far on their journey to stop the Laquium. Remember that this journey took at least a year in-universe, so it was super satisfying to see all that time and effort were worth it all at the end. However, the ending isn’t completely perfect, which I’ll explain.

While predominantly an in-person series of marathons, they have recently started holding online events, including the RTA EXPERIENCE series of marathons. The big Pokémon 30th anniversary event scheduled for South Korea is the Pokémon Mega Festa, a title which encompasses several different celebrations including themed areas, merchandise, athletic events, and tie-ins with Pokémon GO. One of the introductory events for Mega Festa’s opening day, May 1st, was a Pokémon GO stamp rally with a Pokémon TCG card as the completion prize. The event has been suddenly cancelled due to large crowds flooding into the Pokémon Secret Forest, in Seoul Forest Park in the Seongdong District of Seoul.

A video posted on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese YouTube channel on April 22nd has unveiled new cards for the Rampardos and Bastiodon evolution lines, together with a new Relicanth, and a Fossil Pokémon-themed Stadium. These cards will all be released together in the upcoming Abyss Eye expansion that hits store shelves in Japan on May 22nd.

Sygna Suit Kieran & Furret make their Pokémon Masters EX playable debut today alongside the League Club Problem Child story event which began earlier this week, and a whole host of new events and bonuses launching today as part of the Paldea Fest Rally, and the ongoing 30-Year Celebrations.

The concept of the Laquium Core, and the final boss of Pokémon Horizons’s story, is super unique and I honestly really liked it! I feel like the games should try to make the final bosses be like this, instead of the usual evil organization boss or a Champion.

The next Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Mega Evolution Series has been officially announced in a press release by The Pokémon Company International. Mega Evolution—Pitch Black will release internationally from July 17th. The set will primarily contain cards from the Japanese Abyss Eye expansion, which releases there late next month on May 22nd.

Drayton & Archaludon made their Pokémon Masters EX debut today alongside the launch of the League Club Problem Child Story Event. Also commencing today was the Paldea Fest Rally, bringing with it a variety of bonuses and special events.

Tyrunt and Tyrantrum will be sleepwalking its way onto player's devices next month, as they make their Pokémon Sleep debuts in the Buncha Berries Week Part 2 event. This event is scheduled to begin on Monday May 11th at 4:00am local time, running through until Monday May 18th at 3:59am local time.

Following the release of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's newest expansion, Pulsing Aura, various special events and missions, aimed at new and returning players to allow them to obtain frequently used cards easily, are now available in-game. Additionally, log in to obtain Pack Hourglasses as a gift from the dev team.

Japanese coffee brand BOSS has announced their latest collab with The Pokémon Company, debuting lots of limited-edition merchandise like t-shirts, jackets, acrylic charms, and, of course, Pokémon-themed coffees. Most merch is available via lottery, with customers gaining entries to win by purchasing the Pokémon coffees. The new can designs will be available and the lotteries will open on June 1st, with the promotions ending August 31st. This collab is only available for customers in Japan.

The Pokémon Company is continuing its Timeless Adventure series of merchandise, this time debuting a collection starring Pikachu and the Gen III starters. The new collection features stationery, tableware, and the centerpiece, a Quagsire side table. Hoenn’s Timeless Adventure merch will arrive only at the Pokémon Center Online for customers in Japan on May 14th. It is not expected to be available at any in-store locations upon release.
